Ron Wormser, Meet the Author Event

If dogs could talk it would probably result in “A Dog's Tale,” a story told by Pepper, a miniature schnauzer, to his best friend Ron Wormser, who will hold a meet-the-author event on May 21, at River House Books in Carmel. Come meet Ron at the meet-and-greet event, which will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at River House Books, 208 Crossroads Blvd., The Crossroads, in Carmel.
“A Dog's Tale” is the true story of the amazing life led by Pepper, who was not just a dog, but a very bright, funny, thoughtful, generous, creative, talented, and loving being. Pepper's story is told almost entirely from his perspective about first, life in New York City, then Philadelphia, but mostly it's a story about Pepper and Ron's relationship and the special bond between two species. It is a book for every pet-lover and for all those who aren't, but who want or need to understand those who are. Co-author Wormser, spent 40 years working in the nonprofit sector, including writing a book about fundraising, but it is his special relationship with Pepper that is the heart of this new book.
